Bristol’s third Hot Rides contemporary romantic thriller (after Shift) reunites an FBI agent with her former partner, who’s also her ex-lover. Agent Nikki Gage travels from D.C. to Miami to enlist the help of members of Classic Rides, an auto garage where the employees work undercover for the government. One of them is her former partner, Gabriel Ortiz, whom she hasn’t been able to forget in the four years that they’ve been apart. Nikki needs the help of Classic Rides to stop a man who has started his own militia and plans to attack Americans. She and Gabriel try to get past their personal misunderstandings to make their professional relationship work, and soon they succumb to their incredible mutual attraction. The suspense continues unabated as the romance gets hotter. Bristol’s latest has plenty of sizzling sex, intense danger, and a cast of intriguing supporting characters, all of which will keep the pages turning until the explosive conclusion.
