Regency England has gone to the wolves!

He could never lose control...

Dashiel Thorpe, Earl of Brimsworth, has spent his life fighting the wolf within him. But when the full moon rises, Dash is helpless. A chance encounter with Caitrin Macleod on a moonlit night inadvertently binds the two together irrevocably, and Dash's impulsiveness plunges them both into a nightmare...

She never saw him coming...

Caitrin Macleod is no quiet country lass, but a witch with remarkable abilities. But when it comes to Dashiel, she's as helpless to fight his true nature as he is. Her senses overwhelmed, she runs back to the safety and security of her native Scotland...

But Dashiel is determined to follow her-she's the only woman who can free him from a fate worse than death. And Caitrin will ultimately have to decide whether she's running from danger, or true love...

Dashiel Thorpe, Earl of Brimsworth, has a certain recklessness about him, but even he cant explain why he bites Caitrin Macleod. A full moon can make a werewolf lose his wits, but to mark a woman as his mate is serious. If he cant convince Cait to fall for him, hell spend the rest of his days miserable and alone, pining for her. But Cait sees no future with a Lycan. In truth, she cant see him with her witchs sight at all. Despite the moments of calm this brings her, his nearness otherwise confounds her and leaves her breathless. Animal magnetism doesnt quite shine in the fourth book of Dares series (following The Wolf Next Door, 2010). Dashs actions on occasion arent honorable and tarnish his role as hero, and while Caitrin is sweet, she often comes across as immature. Furthermore, Dares use of dialect for Caitrins speech will charm some but may not appeal to others. However, readers who are already engrossed in the series will want to continue the story.(Reprinted with permission of Booklist, copyright 2010, American Library Association.)
