      Longing for adventure, Shiloh Wainraight accepts a teaching position at the White River Indian Agency in Colorado with the hopes of helping the Ute Indians there. Her optimism is soon diminished, however, as she deals with the U.S. government, an Indian Agent, and Jesse Blackwater, a half-breed for whom Shiloh has forbidden feelings. VERDICT Strong, believable characters make this Western romance a sure bet for fans of Jill Marie Landis.
